But how well does it really work?
In this review, we look closer at Methyl Pump 3.0 to see how effective it really is.

Can I double scoop it?
At your own risk.
The main problem with this product is that you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting – and that includes caffeine.
Our recommend safe limit is 300mg of caffeine per serving – if you’re going above that you may be in trouble.
Assess your tolerance. Try half a serving and see how you feel. Progress from there.
But we wouldn’t recommend trying a double serving straight off the bat.
What about the ingredients in Methyl Pump 3.0?
The first you see is that this product is one big proprietary blend. This means all the dosages of each individual ingredient are hidden.
So you don’t know how much you’re getting of each nutrient, neither do you know if it’s dosed effectively.
Aside from that there are also several nutrients in here that have been repeatedly reported to cause side effects.
There’s a lot of issues here. This is what you need to know about the main ingredients:
A good option for performance – but there is a drawback or two.
Beta Alanine helps to buffer the acid in your muscles. This allows you to have better endurance and more explosive power overall.
However, it has also been linked to causing side effects.
We’ll cover more on that in the side effects section later on.
This is a good amino acid when it comes to thick muscle pumps.
L-Citrulline is converted in your kidneys to L-Arginine which helps promote nitric oxide in your body.
NO is a vasodilator. It improves overall blood flow – and of course, muscle pumps.
This is a great ingredient – the only thing we would say is the dosage. Studies suggest you need 6 – 8g to get the best effects.
With this being a proprietary blend you don’t know how much you’re getting or how effective it will be overall.
This is an okay option – but it’s not your best bet.
Typically people associate taurine with helping energy production due to it being used in energy drinks.
However this isn’t the case. It’s actually an amino acid that promotes circulation.
This could help pass more nutrients through your system – but not enough to give you a solid muscle pump.
One of the better stimulants out there.
We don’t need to tell you how good caffeine is.
As one of the best natural stimulants you can get, caffeine helps promote energy and power output.
It may also speed up your metabolism and increase fat loss.
Not a good choice.
Although we’ve said Citrulline is so valuable for muscle pumps because it converts into Arginine – you don’t want to take Arginine straight.
It isn’t absorbed effectively enough to have any results.
Citrulline is what you need for the best results.
A very poor option.
Marketed commonly in fat burners for its ability to promote fat loss and energy levels – however there are no studies to support these claims.
In actuality, Synephrine looks like a very unreliable nutrient.
Not on that it has been seen to cause side effects when combined with caffeine.
A poor option.
Although Norvaline has been seen to extend the period that your body can maintain muscle pumps – it’s also linked to causing numerous side effects.
We’ll cover more on that later.
A traditional Chinese medicine thought to promote thermogenic fat burning.
However, studies have shown that it is very poorly absorbed by your body.
A good amino acid that may help with focus.
L-Tyrosine is an anti-stressor and promotes happy hormones like dopamine and serotonin.
It won’t promote your energy levels – but it may allow you to focus in a little more on your workout.
Another good ingredient your focus.
Phosphatidylserine is a good cognitive enhancer and has been seen to help with mood, memory, focus and even prevent against cognitive decline.
It’s a good extra in this nutrient profile.
Not so much of a good choice.
Again Huperzine A is another cognitive enhancer – however studies have shown that the actual results are unreliable.
Not only that, it’s been seen that your body can build a tolerance to the effects of Huperzine A over a short period of time – making any benefits ineffective.
It may need to be cycled.
On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile you can come across.
First off – there are three ingredients here that may cause side effects; Beta Alanine, Norvaine and Synephrine.
Not only that, Methyl Pump 3.0 is all one big proprietary blend. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it will be overall.
It’s not your best option.
As we’ve said there are 3 main ingredients you need to be wary of in this nutrient profile: Beta Alanine, Norvaline and Synephrine.
Let’s look at Beta Alanine.
Although it can promote endurance and power, it can also cause paresthesia – an itching in both the hands and face. Which although isn’t harmless, can be annoying as hell and disrupt your session.
This addition may increase the length of your pump – but it may also cause dizziness, light headedness, nausea and headaches. It’s not a good option.
Finally, the Synephrine.
This really has no proven benefits, but when combined with caffeine it does have side effects.
Expect headaches, nausea, dizziness, increased risk of High Blood Pressure and Heart Rate and more nasties.
It doesn’t look promising.
