What does DAS Labs Bucked Up do?

But just how well does it work?
In this review, we look closer at Bucked Up to see how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
Can I double scoop it?
It’s not advisable.
With 200mg of caffeine per serving, doubling up could be an issue.
We recommend sticking to 150 – 300mg of caffeine, or around that amount.
A 100mg more is too much for us to say it will be safe.
What about the ingredients in Bucked Up?
Okay – but could be better.
Don’t get us wrong, there are some good ingredients in this product.
The problem is that there are also some not so effective ingredients used, and even one that causes side effects.
There’s a few risks to consider.
Here’s what we found in the main ingredients:
A supporting vitamin for energy.
B12 has been used for various energetic and metabolic reactions in your body.
It won’t do that much of a difference if your diet’s on point, but it can’t hurt.
One of the better choices for muscle pumps – and there’s a good amount here too.
Citrulline Malate is a strong vasodilator. By being converted by your body into L-Arginine after consumption, Citrulline dilates your blood vessels for maximized pumps.
A good choice for endurance, but it may cause side effects.
Beta Alanine has been seen to help buffer acid in your muscles. This increases overall endurance while training.
However, this product has been linked to certain side effects that we’ll discuss later.
One of the best natural stimulants out there.
Caffeine is great, linked to energy, metabolism and even power output – it’s exactly what you need for motivation and stamina in the gym.
A nutrient that may enhance cognitive ability. It’s not that great but it does have other benefits.
Although primarily used as a brain booster, studies have shown Alpha GPC may help promote power output in the gym.
Believed to promote energy levels due to appearing in stimulating drinks – but this is not the case.
In reality taurine helps mildly with blood flow which could promote nutrient flow throughout the body.
This could help get the product into your system faster.
Deer Antler Velvet
An absolute fad ingredient.
Deer Antler Velvet is an outdated testosterone boosting ingredient that was thought to work due to its exotic nature.
However, this is definitely not the case. Studies have shown DAV has no effect on T levels or on the body whatsoever.
It’s a very bad choice here.
A better choice for t-boosting, but not for workouts or motivation.
Ginseng has been seen to promote blood flow, and may help raise testosterone levels by how it regulates insulin.
Insulin directly interferes with testosterone, due to a process called homeostasis,
Essentially the less insulin you have the better – and ginseng supports this.
Ingredients Bottom Line:
On the whole, this is an okay nutrient profile, but some of the choices could be a lot better.
The deer antler velvet and the taurine spring to mind.
You’ve also got to wary of the side effects here. Beta Alanine has been linked to causing trouble.
The main thing that you have to worry about here is the beta alanine.
Although useful, reports have shown that BA may cause paresthesia – an itching of both the hands and face.
We’ve had it ourselves, and although it’s not dangerous, it’s incredibly distracting from your session.
Be careful with this one.

On the whole, this is an okay pre workout – but it isn’t the best one out there by a long shot.
From this review, this is what you need to know about Bucked Up:
- Potential Side Effects – Beta Alanine has been linked to side effects.
- Some poor ingredient choices – Deer Antler Velvet has no clinical backing.
- No double-scooping – The caffeine in this product is too high for us to recommend you double up.
