What does Force Factor VolcaNO Fury do?
Made by ForceFactor, this is an all natural Pre workout that has been claimed to promote:
- Energy
- Strength
- Pump
- Focus
- Endurance
But how well does it work?
In this review, we look closer at VolcaNO Fury to see effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
Can I double scoop it?
We wouldn’t recommend it.
Due ForceFactor hiding the dosages of the ingredients being used in this product, and that there are some ingredients that may cause side effects – we wouldn’t recommend doubling up.
You’d essentially be doubling your risk of side effects from the more risky nutrients.
Stick to the recommended directions.
What about the ingredients in VolcaNO Fury?
Not that great.
The main problem with this supplement are the proprietary blends.
This is where ingredients are bundled together under the same dosage – you don’t know how much of each individual ingredient you’re getting.
This means you don’t know if it has been effectively dosed.
Not only that – there are numerous ingredients in this nutrient that may cause side effects.
Here’s what you need to know:
L-Tyrosine
An amino acid that works as an anti stressor.
L-Tyrosine has been seen to help increase both dopamine and serotonin.
These are feel good hormones that help promote calmness and relaxation. This may help you to manage focus and concentration.
Choline
A better option for focus.
Choline has been seen to reduce anxiety and increase learning and cognition.
It’s a solid option for concentration – but may not help overall performance.
Caffeine
Arguably, one of the best natural stimulants on the market.
Caffeine has been seen to increase both energy and power output.
It has even been seen to a minor degree to help promote both cognition and metabolism.
It’s a good addition and definitely makes a difference.
Bitter Orange
This is not a great option.
Bitter Orange Extract, also known as Synephrine or Citrus Aurantium was originally thought to effectively boost both energy and fat loss.
However, studies have shown that the overall effects are minimal. Not only that, Bitter Orange Extract has also been linked to causing several side effects which could ruin your progress.
We’ll cover more on that in the later section.
Yohimbe
Another risky choice.
Yohimbe is mainly used in fat burners as an appetite suppressant.
However, although it’s effective – this nutrient has been tied to causing numerous side effects which could damage your workout.
More on that in the next section.
L-Citrulline
A better choice – however the dosage could be a worry.
Citrulline helps to promote nitric oxide in your body, which helps with blood vessel dilation and improving overall muscle pumps.
It’s a great addition for getting a serious pump on in the gym – however these effects are dosage dependent.
Studies have shown you need between 6000 – 8000mg to get the full effects of this addition, with this being part of a 3000mg proprietary blend, it’s clearly not dosed enough.
Taurine
Not a great addition – but does have some benefit.
Taurine has been seen to promote blood flow – but not enough for a pump. This may help with nutrient flow and absorption.
Ingredients Rundown: On the whole – this isn’t the best nutrient profile in a pre workout. In VolcaNO Fury, one of the major problems are the proprietary blends. You don’t know how much of ingredient you’re getting or whether it has been effectively dosed overall. Some appear clearly under dosed. Not only that, there are numerous ingredients here that may cause side effects. It’s just not a good option.
Side Effects
The main ingredients that you need to be concerned with here are the Bitter Orange Extract and Yohimbe.
Bitter Orange Extract has been seen reported to cause:
- Headaches
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Raised Heart Rate
- Risk of High Blood Pressure
- And more
It’s not what you want.
Whereas Yohimbe has been seen to cause anxiety, hypertension and gastrointestinal distress.
These are all things you don’t need when trying to workout.

ForceFactor VolcaNO Fury Review Conclusion
Overall, this isn’t the best pre workout out there on the market.
From this review, here’s what you need to know about VolcaNO Fury:
- Potential Side Effects – Both the Synephrine and the Yohimbe have been linked to causing side effects.
- Proprietary Blends – You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be overall.
- Under dosed in places – Citrulline and other ingredients are clearly under dosed due to being in small blends.
Needless to say, it’s not your best option.
