What does Naturo Nitro Decimus do?
Made by Naturo Nitro, this is an all natural pre workout claimed to promote;
But how well does it really work?
In this review, we look closer at Decimus to see just how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know.
Can I double scoop it?
We don’t recommend it.
Usually we recommend between 150 – 300mg as the safe limit on how much caffeine you should be taking.
As this product is a proprietary blend, you don’t know how much you’re getting.
It’s a risk that could cause side effects.
What about the ingredients in Decimus?
The main problem with this product are the proprietary blend – we don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used or how effective it will be overall.
On top of that, there’s a side effect risk.
Take a look:
Carnosyn (Beta Alanine)
It has its uses, but it’s not your best option.
Beta Alanine helps with endurance, by buffering the acid in your muscles.
However, studies have shown that although this is effective, there are certain side effects that can ruin the overall effect of the nutrient.
More on that later.
Thought to help with nitric oxide – and to some extent it’s right, however there are complications.
Although Arginine has been seen to help with blood flow and attaining muscle pumps – the problem is with its absorption.
Our body’s can’t make use of it when taken orally – it won’t have much of an impact.
This mix of different creatines, although impressive, will pretty much offer you the same kind of benefits.
It retains water in your muscles. This will help with endurance and promote explosive power.
It’s a great addition.
One of the better stimulants on the market.
Caffeine has been seen to promote energy, power output, and even metabolism.
A caffeinated herb that may help with energy output.
Although the effects might be minimal as the caffeine in guarana is negligible.
Similar to guarana. Contains caffeine, but doesn’t do much overall.
You may get a mild boost from this stimulant, but not much else.
Also known as Hordenine, may help with fat burning, but nothing has been proven.
It will not boost your workout, or improve your motivation.
A nootropic that may have some effect.
Choline is a brain booster, and may help promote learning and focus.
This may help you concentrate more while training.
A building block of protein – but most people already have an adequate amount in their diet.
It won’t make much of a difference here.
May help reduce inflammation and improve digestion.
Will it help with your workouts?
Not really, no. This is more just to ensure that it’s digested faster.
On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile we’ve seen.
The only good options here are the caffeine and the Creatine.
Not only that, there a lot of propriety blends in this product. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be overall.
Then you also have to consider the side effects that you may get from the Beta Alanine, all in all, it’s not the best option out there.
The main problems that you have to worry about here are with the caffeine and the beta alanine.
As you don’t know how much caffeine you’re getting in this product – there is a risk of it being high and causing problems.
Problems such as;
- Raised Heart rate
Whereas Beta Alanine can also cause issues. Mainly paresthesia, the condition of an itching face and hands.
Although not dangerous, it can be very distracting from your session.
