Made by Relentless (Supplement company, not energy drink brand), this is an all natural pre workout claimed to promote:
- Muscle Pump
- Focus
- Endurance
- ‘Ignited Performance’
But how well does it really work?

Can I double scoop it?
At your own discretion.
Although there is no caffeine in here, there is beta Alanine – a nutrient that has been seen to cause side effects.
Doubling up may not be the best idea if you want the best results.
What about the ingredients in Tork?
Not that great.
For starters, all of the ingredients are in proprietary blends.
This means many of them are grouped together, which stops you knowing how much of each ingredient is being used or how well it’s been effectively dosed.
On top of that, not all of the ingredients promote your workout – and some may even cause side effects.

Beta Alanine
Not your best option.
Although beta alanine has been seen to help promote acid buffering in the muscles – there’s a catch.
Sure it could help improve your workouts, but it’s also linked to several side effects that could ruin your session.

Hydration Complex
Contains various electrolytes such as potassium and other additions.
This won’t do much unless you are depleted in any of the nutrients listed.
If so you may recover faster and have more energy for a workout.
Rhodiola Rosea
Good for motivation.
A herb seen to help promote well-being, and even fight depression.
Rhodiola is one of the better options for making sure you stay in the zone during your session.
It may also help reduce fatigue.
Ginseng
Can help with blood flow.
Ginseng has been seen to increase nitric oxide levels, which in turn promotes blood flow and potentially muscle pumps.
L-Tyrosine
Another good addition for focus – but not overall physical performance.
L-Tyrosine is an anti-stress amino acid.
This means it helps promote the feel good hormones in your body like serotonin and dopamine.
It helps promote calmness, which may aid concentration during a workout.
Vinpocetine
A good option for your brain – again, not an effective option for your workouts.
Vinpocetine helps promote memory and blood flow.
May keep you sharper – but it’s unlikely that you’ll be more effective.
Ginger
Used to promote digestion.
Ginger may help absorb the nutrients in Tork quicker, but it won’t make any overall difference.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
May help to reduce blood glucose – which may be useful if this was a fat burner.
But as a pre workout, it’s not going to make much difference.
Ingredients Rundown: On the whole, this is a pretty weak nutrient profile. The only thing that it may be able to do is focus your mind with nutrient like the rhodiola – however getting a good workout out of it may be a lot harder to do. There’s also a range of proprietary blends that stops you knowing how much of each ingredient you’re getting, and how effective it will be overall. It’s just not your best option.
Side Effects
The main concern here is with the Beta Alanine.
Linked to promoting acid buffering in your muscles BA may also cause a condition known as paresthesia – this is an itching in both the hands and the face and can be very distracting during your session.
It’s definitely not what you want while training.

On the whole, this isn’t the best pre workout on the market.

- Proprietary Blends – Too many hidden dosages to know how effective this product is.
- Potential Side Effects – Beta Alanine has been seen to cause side effects.
- Ineffective ingredients – Many of the ingredients used do not promote performance.
All in all, it’s not your best option.
